Today, we welcome a myriad of industries from automotive manufacturing, fabricated metal products and machinery manufacturing, plastics and rubber manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and medical devices and value-added food manufacturing. Our convenient location and ample workforce has sparked development of the recently certified Carolinas’ I-77 Mega Site.  This site consist of  1,438-acres along I-77 located between exits 62 and 65, it is the first industrial site in the Charlotte Regional Partnership Region to receive the Megasite certification from McCallum Sweeney. It is one of 12 sites throughout the Southern United States that have met the program’s high standards . With the additional benefit of 8,000 linear feet of frontage on I-77, dual rail service and all utilities nearby, the site promises to attract large manufacturing and distribution companies demanding easy access.

Large tracts of undeveloped property, low taxes, right-to-work status, and a workforce adept at shift work have helped us attract some of the world’s most recognized companies.
