Eighth Annual Hog on the Hill BBQ Cook Off

May 5 & 6 2017

If you love BBQ and music, you have to be in Chester for the 6th annual Hog on the Hill BBQ Cook Off Event. Back by popular demand will be the “Anything But” competition Friday night allowing the cook teams to show off their culinary skills.

Other activities will include kid rides, live music, classic cars and horse and carriage rides. Bring a blanket and eat a BBQ picnic while listening to local bands or browse the sidewalk sales from local stores and let the kids enjoy rides and homemade ice cream in the summer sun! Flopeye Fish Festival

May 26 & 27, 2017

This year’s festival will be held at 2534 James Baker Blvd., Great Falls, SC in the Industrial Park on Highway 21 near the stoplight. Admission is FREE and activities will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. This year’s festival will be packed with plenty of activities for everyone. We will have everything from a carnival to live entertainment. We would love to invite you to come and enjoy the day with us!

HILLarity

October 21, 2017

The 24th annual HILLarity Festival will be bigger and better than ever before! This year, there will be two stages with a variety of musical acts including Bluegrass, Jazz, Latin, Native American, Gospel, and Old School R&B. One of the best parts of the festival is the wide variety of food! Come enjoy everything from Mexican, Greek and Mediterranean fare, to fried fish, turkey wings, bbq, funnel cakes and more!

There will be free mammogram, diabetes and blood pressure screenings in the Health Zone, SC authors will be onsite for book signings in the Literary Corner and the Car Show will feature some of SC’s newest car clubs. The Kids Zone will feature plenty of fun activities for the youngest attendees, like inflatables, rides, games and face-painting. Not to mention vendors with toys and balloons.
